Roles and responsibilities of CMUREC
- Consider giving suggestions, revise, and certify a research proposal according to related sciences.
- Protect all research participants (even only partly involved in the research project), regardless of the sponsor.
- Require to submit a progress report and examining research studies through research ethics.
- Consider unexpected deviations from the research proposals.
- Consider periodic visits to follow up on research projects that have been certified for research ethics.
- Perform other duties assigned by the university.
